About Maria:
Board director, corporate executive, and civic leader known for creating opportunities to “do good and do well” across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Maria has steered organizational turnarounds, restructures, and business innovation for Microsoft, Xerox, AT&T (Ameritech). and Leadership Greater Chicago.
Currently, Maria serves on the board of P33, an organization focused on taking Chicago to a level 1 technology city and on the Advisory Board for Chicago Innovation, focused on identifying innovative organizations in Chicago and elevating their profile for access to capital. She is also a partner in Angeles Investors Fund, focused on investing in and promoting innovative Hispanic Entrepreneurs in the tech space.
Maria has successfully held senior executive leadership roles in nonprofits and multi-million business units where she has profitably grown revenue, led major organization transformations, and guided strategic mergers. She is an active member of Chicago's civic community and has been recognized for her leadership and philanthropic involvement.
